BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once accepted by Eardley Hall Kennels. By making a booking, the owner agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Vaccinations
For the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care:

All dogs must have current vaccinations against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus.

Kennel Cough vaccination is strongly recommended. Where Kennel cough is administered, it must be at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to their stay with Eardley Hall.

Vaccination records must be provided before admission.
Eardley Hall Kennels reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog where vaccination requirements cannot be verified.
Health & Welfare
Owners must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, behavioural concerns, dietary requirements or medication requirements prior to boarding.
Dogs must not be admitted if they are suffering from any contagious or infectious illness. Should a dog become ill, injured or require veterinary attention during their stay, Eardley Hall Kennels reserves the right to seek veterinary treatment as deemed necessary. Any veterinary costs incurred during the stay, including consultation fees, treatment, medication and transport costs, remain the responsibility of the owner.
Veterinary Treatment Authorisation
By boarding their dog with Eardley Hall Kennels, the owner authorises Eardley Hall Kennels to seek veterinary treatment if the owner cannot be contacted or if urgent treatment is required. Where possible, the owner's nominated veterinary practice will be contacted first. In an emergency, treatment may be sought from the nearest available veterinary practice.
Behaviour
Dogs must be non-aggressive and safe to handle. Owners must disclose any history of aggression, anxiety, escape attempts, resource guarding or other behavioural concerns. Eardley Hall Kennels reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a stay if a dog's behaviour presents a risk to itself, staff, other dogs or visitors.
Medication
Medication can be administered provided:

Full written instructions are supplied.

Medication is provided in its original packaging.

Sufficient medication is supplied for the duration of the stay.
Eardley Hall Kennels will take reasonable care in administering medication in accordance with the instructions provided. However, Eardley Hall Kennels cannot accept liability for complications arising solely from an underlying medical condition that was not disclosed at the time of booking, or where the complication arises despite medication being administered in accordance with the written instructions provided.
Feeding
Owners may provide their dog's usual fOod to minimise dietary disruption. Where food is not supplied, Eardley Hall Kennels will provide a suitable alternative diet. Any specific dietary requirements must be disclosed prior to boarding.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required to secure all bookings. No booking shall be considered confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing in advance. Eardley Hall Kennels reserves the right to refuse admission where the deposit or balance has not been received.
Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Where notice of cancellation is provided at least 4 weeks before the scheduled arrival date, Eardley Hall Kennels may, at its sole discretion and subject to availability, transfer the deposit to an alternative booking date. Any transferred deposit must be used within 12 months of the original booking date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where notice of cancellation is provided less than 4 weeks before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be forfeited and no transfer will be offered. Cancellations should be communicated as soon as possible to allow the accommodation to be offered to other customers.
Collection and Departure
Dogs must be collected by the agreed departure time on the scheduled departure date. Where a dog is collected before the agreed departure date, no refund will be provided for unused boarding days. Where a dog has not been collected by 10:30 am on the scheduled departure date, an additional day’s boarding charge will be applied. Owners who anticipate a delay should contact Eardley Hall Kennels as soon as possible. Where a dog remains uncollected beyond the scheduled departure date, additional boarding charges will continue to accrue at the applicable daily rate until collection.
Personal Belongings
Owners may provide bedding, blankets, toys or other personal items at their own risk. Whilst reasonable care will be taken, Eardley Hall Kennels cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or destruction of personal belongings.
Photographs & Social Media
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken of dogs in our care for welfare records, training purposes, website content or social media.
Owners may opt out of marketing-related photography by notifying Eardley Hall Kennels in writing.
Abandoned Dogs
Where a dog is not collected on the agreed departure date and the owner cannot be contacted, Eardley Hall Kennels will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and emergency contacts. Additional boarding charges will apply for each additional day. If no contact is made and collection arrangements are not agreed, Eardley Hall Kennels reserves the right to involve the appropriate authorities or animal welfare organisations.
Limitation of Liability
Eardley Hall Kennels takes every reasonable step to ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of dogs in its care. However, Eardley Hall Kennels shall not be liable for illness, injury, loss, or death arising from:

Medical conditions or behavioural issues that were not disclosed by the owner prior to or at the time of boarding;

Pre-existing health conditions, whether or not previously disclosed; or
-
Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Eardley Hall Kennels.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Force Majeure
Eardley Hall Kennels shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, severe weather, disease outbreak, utility failure, or government action. In such circumstances, Eardley Hall Kennels will notify owners as soon as reasonably practicable and will use reasonable endeavors to make alternative arrangements. Where a stay cannot be completed due to a force majeure event, any deposit paid will not normally be refunded but may, at the discretion of Eardley Hall Kennels, be transferred to an alternative booking date.
Licensing
Eardley Hall Kennels operates under a licence issued by the relevant local authority in accordance with the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. Details of the licence are available on request.

Data Protection and Privacy
Eardley Hall Kennels collects and processes personal data about owners (including name, contact details, emergency contact details, and veterinary information) for the purpose of providing boarding services and fulfilling its duty of care obligations. Personal data is processed on the lawful basis of contract performance (to fulfil your booking) and, where applicable, legitimate interests (animal welfare and safety). Marketing-related photography is processed on the basis of consent only. Data will be retained for 12 months and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to provide veterinary care or to comply with a legal obligation. You have rights under UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking and boarding a dog at Eardley Hall Kennels, the owner confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Where the owner is acting on behalf of another person, they confirm that they have authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on that person’s behalf.
